Chris Padgett has been the lead singer of the Catholic band Scarecrow & Tinmen since its conception over ten years ago, and he is an adult convert to Catholicism along with his wife Linda from an Assembly of God and Baptist background. Chris holds a B.A. from the University of South Florida and is currently pursuing his M.A. in Theology & Christian Ministry from the Franciscan University of Steubenville where he currently resides with Linda and their eight adorable children.

Chris Padgett is seriously addicted to every genre of Catholic books and is always ready & willing to accept generous donations to pad his growing library. When he isn't playing a gig here or there with the band, Chris drives and flies around the country to speak to young people, teens, and adults as a Christian speaker and music artist.

Chris' lastest record is entitled "Golden" and has for its central theme the Eucharist, which is the center of Chris' life as a committed Catholic Christian. Attending daily mass and praying our Lady's Rosary regularly have become the wellspring of life for the Padgett family, and Chris' great love for Mary is readily perceivable when he shares his Christian faith.
